After looking at so many riding boots, I decided give these a try. I’m glad I did because these not only look great but are water-repellant, and comfortable. These boots are roomy overall(plenty of room to tuck in jeans), but not overly huge. I’m short (5’2″), so looking for shaft length that fits my legs without getting too close to the knees is a challenge. These are perfect. My only objection is that the zippers are on the outside rather than inside. Not too bad, but not sure if that’s an advantage. Also, the inside is lined with fleece/fur-like material. These boots would keep you warm which I don’t really like since I’m in Southern CA.

Yeowwww! Glad I ordered big. This European equivalent sizing runs small. Boots are gorgeous. Made in Portugal. Beautiful leather but there is absolutely nothing in the way of excess space in the foot area once that zipper goes up. I have never worn a “wide,” but if they’d offered it I certainly would exchange them. I wear a 9M and ordered the “40” in these boots. Let’s hope that gorgeous leather stretches!

I was hoping that these would fit well on my slim calves (12.5 inch with 7.5 shoe size), but they are far too big. I own the Eric Michael Montana and those fit great, but they are a little more dressed down than I would like. Too bad, because these have to have the most comfortable foot bed ever! The leather is smooth and beautiful and looks very high quality.

My calf measures 15¼” around. What I found in shopping for this type of boot is that if I wanted to tuck in a pant, then I could buy boots that are described as 15″ calf circumference. But, if I want a boot to wear with skirts or thinner leggings, I need a boot that is labeled as 14″ circumference. I found this to be true with Eric Michael Lauren and Vince Camuto (15″). The Ugg and Sofft boots I tried with a 14″ calf label were the ones that did fit my 15¼” calf.

Love, Love, Love! They are a classy looking boot. And with my average to small size calves, they fit nicely with suitable room to tuck a pant leg. One con, they fit tight the first few times I’d worn them but by the third time, the leather had stretch just enough for my comfort.

beautiful boots. leather is soft and so nice. Sad I had to return because the shaft circumference was too wide! I could put 4 fingers in the top of boot when on. My calf is 14″

Love these boots! I wasn’t sure what I would think about the zipper being on the outside, but it adds a bit of style to an otherwise very plain boot. They are comfortable to wear all day, and the soles aren’t slick so they are good for wet weather. My calves are about average, and these fit just perfect, not too tight. All in all, a great boot! Love Eric Micheal boots!

A very classy looking boot. I’m 5’2”, hence, short legs. These boots fit nicely around my 14″ calves. (The boot has a 15″ circumference.) A bit of room when zipped, but not ridiculous. Looks great with skinny jeans, and I’m hoping tights as well.
The shaft fits my legs and does not come up too high. Hard to find when you’re a shortie.
Zipper on the outside of the boot doesn’t bother me.
Comfortable foot bed. Smooth leather. And waterproof!

I LOVE these boots! I tried numerous pairs that were more expensive but these were the most comfortable.Comfort was my most important factor and I felt the foot-bed was both supportive and there was some cushioning. The leather is supple and the styling is elegant and classic.

Nice quality, classy and comfortable boot. I wear a size 9 W and ordered a 9.5. They were almost too big. I loved the boot but disliked the packaging which was too small. The small box crumbled the leather if boot kept in box.

I love these boots. Today will be the second time I’ve worn them for my 10 min walk to train, standing train ride and 10 min walk to work at my standing desk. It was not very cold the first time I wore them and I did not find the lining uncomfortable. Today it is cold and I feel like they helped keep me warm! The lining is to prevent moisture. They are very comfortable and they look great—it’s hard to find a riding boot style without straps or buttons or something. These are sleek. I am small, 5’4”, 128 lbs, but athletic, and the top muscle of my calf is nearly 15”. They fit great.

Love this boot!!! but have to return them as they are too small. I normally wear an 8 and I bought 38 and my toe hits the tip of the boot. I’ll try the 39, but have a funny feeling they might be too big.

Unfortunately when I ordered these boots I didn’t notice that the zipper of the boot is placed on the outside of your leg instead of on the inside. I think that it totally ruins the appearance of what could have been a truly beautiful and comfortable boot.

Boots are beautiful. I have them in brown and bought the black for my daughter since she really admired the leather and warmth of the lining. The shaft was too narrow for her 16 inch calf. I am returning them in hopes to find a boot that fits her calf with the Eric Michael quality. The price point was high, but for the quality, it’s on point!

Beautiful boot-I’m 5’2 and as others have said it’s challenging to find a boot that’s not too tall. Unfortunately I have to return them because I can’t zip them up over my jeans. Very disappointing.

There is a lot to like about these boots – the leather is pretty and the lining makes them very comfortable. That said, they are $200 boots and they arrived in a random, completely unbranded box that’s about twice the size they actually require (an issue for me because I store my shoes in their boxes) and didn’t have any tissue or other type of protection for the boots. They were just floating loosely in a huge, unmarked box. So weird. More importantly, the heel on these just looks like molded, cheap plastic. While $200 isn’t necessarily expensive for boots, it does justify a nicer quality heel.

Beautifully made boots and fits well, however they are not very flexible in the foot bed of the boot. This being the main reason I did not purchase them. The color was also darker than what I was looking for.

Oh, I really wanted these boots to work! The European sizing (like Danskos) is true to size. The shaft was just too tight, so back they go. The search will continue for something similar without straps and buckles but in a wider calf.

Leather is lovely quality. I’m usually a size 7.5 but was swimming in these so I would recommend ordering a half size up. The heel is a strange faux wood that I don’t care for and so returning on that basis.

Very comfortable. They’re a little warmer than most leather boots, because of the waterproof lining, but that’s kind of nice in the winter. They have a very nice cut–they hit at a great height (I’m 5’4″ and many shafts are too long for me) and have a nice circumference–not too tight or too lose around the calf. I’d prefer if the zippers were on the inside instead of the outside, but I’m still very happy with these boots. I just took them on a trip to Philly where it was raining both upon my arrival and upon my return, and these boots really held up–but (except for the placement of the zipper) they really don’t look like rain boots, just like normal, sophisticated, professional boots.

These boots are very cute. Lined with a thin layer of soft faux fur around the legs. It fit snug around the calf. I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to zip them up, but I pulled at the elastic on the side to give me room to zip them and it worked. They didn’t feel tight at all because the leather is soft. These boots are definitely worth the money.

These are really nice boots, and I’m really bummed because I have to return them due to the zippers. They are cheap metal and they keep getting stuck, plus they have that cheap metal smell. Not what I would expect for $200 boots. The boots are really cute, though. 🙁
