I was so sad to have to return these boots. I was looking for a flat, low heal style to wear around on a regular basis. These were similar in style to a cherished pair of Borns that I wore all the time and recently had to retire after many years of wear. Beautiful style and quality leather. I loved the flexible sole. I’m an 8.5, and so I ordered the 8.5-9 (39), expecting it to be perfect, but the toe box was just a tad too small on the left foot (I have a small bunion), and the right shoe seemed short (my big toe came to the end of the boot). I ordered the next size, but Zappos sent the wrong style (the Urusla), which I tried on for size and they were much too big. So I don’t know whether I’ll bother to order the Carmen again in the 40. Bummer, because it really is a cute boot.

This says it’s a size 10-11, but it’s an 11-12. It’s unfortunate because it’s the cutest boot I’ve found, but I have to return them and they don’t come in a larger size. Size up ladies!
