I bought these because they reminded me of a pair I had in the 70s. Very retro looking to me. These are so comfy. You can wear them all day. The brown leather is much nicer than the photo indicates.

These are my favorite shoes. My feet were so happy when I first tried them on, and I love the way that they look with both pants and skirts. I love these so much that I’m considering getting them in brown (currently have the tan) and/or stocking up on a couple pairs.

Really, really nice looking shoe. Not too clunky and can be dressed up or down. I have not worn them yet, so I cannot vouch for their comfort level, but they fit nicely. I love them!

I’ve had these for five years and have hiked on trails and through cities for hundreds of miles, and the soles have finally worn through. They were comfortable right out of the box. I have a wide foot, so for narrow-footed folks they might be wide. A great shoe.

These are awesome shoes! I find myself looking for outfits to wear so that I can wear these shoes. Not only are they stylish and made of quality leather, but they are super comfortable, and I have problem feet. They run true to size. I cannot imagine anyone would be disappointed with these.

These were very comfortable boots from day one. I ordered the tan boots and was a little surprised that the toe of the boot was significantly darker than the rest of it; hopefully it will blend in better with time.

I looked at the picture of these, and thought – nah. Then I read the reviews and thought, what the hell. Then they came and I took them out of the box and I thought no way, I must have lost my mind, but then I tried them on and looked at them in the mirror and walked around a bit and now you couldn’t pry them away from me. These are awesome shoes. I feel like Georgia O’Keefe striding over the mesas around Abiquiu when I wear these. I would never wear them with skirts, that was a 30s and 40s look, but still. If Georgia wore skinny jeans, and boot cuts, etc., then these would be the shoes. And for the price? Holy crap, order two pairs. Excellent quality, excellent fit. Great shoe.

These are wonderful boots! I have been searching for just the right pair for a few years now, and these are the boots I’ve been searching for. The color is much better than shown – it’s not patchy as the photo shows, but a slightly glossy, uniform dark chestnut brown. I found them fairly comfortable without an insole. Not much insulation, though, so for winter wear order a half size up and wear wooly socks.

I chose this shoe as I have had good luck with this brand. The arch support is awesome and just the right amount of cushion. They did not look as weathered as the picture-look pretty plastic like. I did experience a bit of pinching around the toe box towards day’s end but did wear them full 8 hours walking.

I have a wide forefoot, it’s usually difficult to find comfortable shoes right out of the box, but these boots are awesome. I’m wearing them much more than I expected, they work in dressing up or down. Zappos has been so easy to work with!

Stoked to find a walking shoe without gobs of plastic shiny stuff all over it. Amazed to find they needed zero breaking in. I hope they last and last, unlike Keen’s which always fall apart on me after a year or two. Maybe I’m hard on my shoes. These are all around softer & friendlier & less clunky than Keen’s.

I needed a good, comfortable pair of sturdy shoes for work and running around town, but I did not want clunky work boots. I searched and searched and finally came across these. I noticed all the reviews gave them five stars, and the style was cute (and a bit retro), so I ordered them and I am so glad that I did. They are comfortable, stylish and the leather is of very high quality. I also like the tread on the bottom in case of some snow or ice, and the heel gives me a little lift. Overall these are well made ankle boots that provide comfort and style.

This boot was just what a wanted – a slightly chunky, quiet-soled, wear-with-anything boot that is comfortable to walk in and to wear for hours. The actual upper is solid brown (not distressed as in the photo) which I like. Seems well made too. Only (slight) negative is sometimes my pant cuff gets hung up on the flap at the back of the shoe. I bought the black Chelsea boot at the same time and like it just as well. Would buy Eastland again!

What is great about these shoes is that they give excellent support and warmth without being heavy. There was no “breaking in” time; right out of the box, they were very comfortable. I like their look & feel so much that I wear them much more often than expected (I bought them to cope with slick & snowy winter sidewalks).

Love the look and feel of these boots. They are probably true to size. I usually wear a 10.5, but that size wasn’t available so I ordered an 11. The 11 are slightly too big, but with thick socks they’re just fine.
