Comfortable shoe –
I like the shoes, they are comfortable and am saving them for special going out to eat occasions.

Very comfortable–I wear them so often they are worn out. I am now looking for a second pair.

Casual Comfort –
This is my 2nd pair of this shoe. I find this to be a versatile, comfortable shoe for almost any occasion. I can dress up or down in them. Probably would never wear them with a suit though.

Better than boots.
I have a wide foot so it was hard at first getting my foot through the hole but once it went in the shoe was really roomy and it wasn’t as comfortable as I expected but better than most boots. These are way easier especially working around the clinic (I am a vet) and going from site to site and to rodeos also.

“Most comfortable shoe I’ve ever owned”
I’m a sixty year old guy with beat up, hard to fit feet. Although I own more that 100 pair of shoes, only a few pair can be worn without pain. These really are the best. Excellent quality of manufacture, easy to maintain, and although a year old now, still look like new. I’m buying another color today!

Too tight, but good looks!
I found these shoes fit easily a size too small compared to my other shoes in the same size. The look is good, but I just couldn’t get past the size issue (they were murder to get on!), and had to return them.

Casual sturdy elegance –
These shoes are right for the woods, the garden, the office, the rain or the snow. They work with shorts or slacks, just about anywhere short of formal wear. They are comfortable, sturdy, waterproof, reasonably stylish, and appropriately priced.
The only problem — they are not widely available.

Eastland Newport –
This is a comfortable, well made shoe for the cost. The soles do track in a lot of dirt and they feel narrow across the top of the foot until they break in, so plan your socks accordingly.

Better than I expected –
I thought I was getting my husband some yard shoes, but when we got them they surprised us by how good they looked. He wears them to work now. He says they are comfortable.

Almost a great shoe. I’ve worn Eastland in the past finding them to be a quality shoe. This shoe has some corners cut in a bad place. There is no solid foot bed! The shoe insoles are right on top of the sole that is full of holes that will, in time, cut the insole. I replaced the insole with Redwing insoles that improved the comfort 100%. I will add a thin layer of cardboard or leather under the insoles to increase the comfort further. On balance these shoes will be okay for everyday, but they are not the Eastland quality I’m used to.

I bought a pair of these shoes about a year ago, I only started wearing them everyday for the past 6 months, most comfy shoes I have found in a while, but today the sole split in two from were they bend…very disappointing, still in good condition other then sole.

I wore out my first pair and like them so, that I bought my second pair. Overall, a good shoe. The sides come up a little higher than most shoes. I like that because I feel that it gives my feet better support.

Had these shoes before, thrilled when I could find them again. Comfortable, durable and stylish for all around everyday wear. My orthotics fit well inside. Can’t really say how the arch support is when I put my own arch support in.

The Eastland Newport is among my favorite shoes. I’m into my forth pair. Be certain to have the proper fit, both length and width, as they can feel tight in the upper if you don’t get it right.

I purchased a pair of shoes just like these for my husband years ago and he wore them out over the course of a few years. So we recently decided to purchase another pair and he loves these just like the ones before.
He has a wide foot and high instep but the 9.5 W fits him perfectly.

I have worn this Eastland Newport for more than seven years. Bought a second pair because these shoes develop cracks in the sole that run across the entire width of the shoe. I suspect that the material used for the soles just give up after 5 years or so. Other than that, I like them.

I have a wide foot with a high arch, so finding shoes that fit has always been a challenge. These were close, and were wide enough across the ball of the foot, but too tight in the toe box. I really wish they had worked, because they looked great.
